Give Thanks – Film a Thank You Message

During the pandemic, special people are stepping up to help us get through these tough times. Whether it be a teacher, principal or your mom, dad, film a message thanking that person in your life.

Right now our New Bedford Public School system is being tested by the COVID-19 pandemic. We understand this is a trying time for our entire community, but we will pass this. We’re resilient, strong and most importantly we’re still all about TEACHING. LEARNING. CONNECTING. in New Bedford.

Show us your #NBTLC moments.

NOTICE: Due to varying file sizes and volume of submissions if you have any difficulties uploading send your #NBTLC moments to nbtlc@steamthestreets.org.
Thank you for your participation!

So you’re one of the creative superstars educators giving TLC to NB public school students and for that we salute you! The fact you want to share and show others how they can give their own TLC is even better and just what’s needed in times like these.

Here are some examples of things we’d love to see from you:

  • Doing cool and innovative projects to reach students.
  • Shots from Virtual classroom in google meeting (screen-captured video)
  • Spreading hope and joy (kindness contagion)
  • Exercising inside or outside (6 feet away from other people)
  • Dancing, singing, playing an instrument, or anything else that’s awesome!

This hasn’t been easy.  You probably miss your favorite teacher, and especially your friends and wish you could just do something together. Well here’s the chance  to do just that: be part of a music video that shows how you’re getting through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here are some examples of things we’d love to see from you:

  • Doing school work or projects at home.
  • Dancing, singing, playing an instrument.
  • Doing family activities siblings helping each other.
  • STEAM activities – art projects, building things, designing, cooking, etc.
  • Exercising inside or outside (6 feet away from other people)
