Jessica Ross is an experienced educator, researcher, facilitator, and hiker (in her spare time). Jessica currently teaches high school humanities at Global Learning Charter Public School where she previously taught grades 5–8. During a multi-year hiatus from classroom teaching, Jessica served as a project manager and researcher for the Agency by Design research initiative at Project Zero (PZ)—a research center at the Harvard Graduate School of Education—examining the promises, practices, and pedagogies of maker-centered learning.
Sidafa Conde
Computational Scientist, Sandia National Laboratories
Sidafa Conde moved to New Bedford, MA from Guinea, West Africa, at 11 years old not knowing a word of English. Since then, he’s obtained his dual Bachelor of Science in Computational Mathematics and Accounting at Umass Dartmouth in 2012 before continuing on to defend his Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Science, focused in Computational Science and Engineering in 2017. Dr. Conde is now Senior Member of Technical Staff in the Computational Mathematics Department at Sandia National Lab.
