Maira Benjamin has been dedicated to the technology sector for over two decades playing instrumental roles in engineering organizations for over 10 technology companies. Currently, she is the Sr. Director of Engineering at Change.org. Maira is the founder of the Tech Intersections conference, a conference for women of color in Tech. She believes fervently in enabling people worldwide to promote the change that they want to see in their communities.
Sidafa Conde
Computational Scientist, Sandia National Laboratories
Sidafa Conde moved to New Bedford, MA from Guinea, West Africa, at 11 years old not knowing a word of English. Since then, he’s obtained his dual Bachelor of Science in Computational Mathematics and Accounting at Umass Dartmouth in 2012 before continuing on to defend his Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Science, focused in Computational Science and Engineering in 2017. Dr. Conde is now Senior Member of Technical Staff in the Computational Mathematics Department at Sandia National Lab.
