STEAM the Streets is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inform, inspire, and activate underserved youth to pursue in-demand career paths in STEAM (STEM plus the Arts). Through in-school programming, production and distribution of impactful, relevant content, and the building of cross-sector partnerships, STEAM the Streets has become a force in the ecosystem to create a more inclusive STEAM career pipeline.
Job Description
As a Multimedia Intern, you will support STEAM the Streets’ mission to create culturally relevant media to help youth not be left behind because of the opportunity gap.
Responsibilities include:

Build out and maintain our educational materials on various digital platforms

Supporting STEAM the Streets’ App by tracking data and inputting backend information

Support with social media content creation

Edit short videos and reels showcasing STEAM the Streets’ work

Create designs using Canva
-
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Self-starter who can produce great results with limited supervision

Be communicative, self-reliant, and responsive in email
