Dear Champion of STEAM the Streets,
2024 was a significant growth year for STEAM the Streets in many ways. We were able to grow our team, our impact, and numbers of youth served.
We’ve been privileged to work on important projects with good people, partnering with like-minded funders, organizations, schools and youth to create a mighty ripple effect. Honing in our hybrid approach of virtual content and in person outreach and education, we expanded our national impact.
Through a paid internship program, and community projects we took major steps to building our internal talent pipeline. We were also able to help partners build their pipelines through meeting youth where they are.
In a time of a million distractions, STEAM the Streets is lighting the pilot in the minds of youth, inspiring new career trajectories and guiding them to a tangible roadmap. Looking ahead, we are excited to blaze new trails, which include rolling out our “See It And Be It” program with partner schools, launching new modules, and strengthening our core team.
There is a workforce gap that threatens the viability and security of our institutions, businesses, and country; yet the current career curriculum in our schools are failing to activate our youth to fill this gap. Fortunately, we have created a powerful solution, as validated by the student testimonials in this report. This is why I need your help; to help me bring this program to your school district, county, state, church, or youth program. If not us, who will? Please support for this is bigger than us.
