“Programs like STEAM the Streets are important because youth need to know about information and opportunities that are available to them. Without this access, they may be limited to what they see in their immediate surroundings. Having a sense of optimism and choice with regard to your future is very important to positive youth development.”

“See It and Be It”
Program

See It and Be It utilizes StS’ strengths of youth engagement, content development, and educator support to bring a comprehensive program to middle and high schools. It includes an 11 lesson interactive curriculum to provide exploration of careers across the STEAM spectrum.

“This Can Be You”
Live Experience

“This Can Be You” resembles a career exploration concert that helps students see themselves in a broad range of STEAM careers. The show makes relevant connections to reach youth where they’re at, and gets them excited about what’s possible. We energize and uplift your community whether at schools, conferences, or out of school programs.

Student-Powered Anthem Campaigns

STEAM the Streets offers a dynamic, project-based experience where students co-create a powerful anthem and music video. This immersive journey combines creativity, collaboration, and real-world media production—elevating students’ voices while producing a professional-grade final product you’ll be proud to share.

CVTE Pathway Recruitment

Sometimes students and families aren’t aware of the life-changing pathways that re provided within their own school! We help schools and districts communicate their impact through compelling, high quality stories from alumni, faculty and students, and then help promote those stories.

in Building Bridges to Careers

"Steam the Streets doesn’t just “talk the talk;” they “walk the walk” when it comes to diversifying the STEAM workforce. Ask any young person, and they will be the first to tell you that “grown ups” struggle making things seem “cool” to kids.
STS solves that problem by working in collaboration with our target audience (our students) to develop culturally competent and genuinely entertaining materials."
