This slide-based lesson is anchored by two videos produced by STEAM the Streets which provide a relatable story and valuable insight on the field of Marine Ecology. The lesson takes 30-40 minutes and is good for grades 5th and up. 

Our Marine Ecology Lesson allows students to explore and learn the possibilities of a Marine Ecologist Career, and encourages discussion and thought on the importance of diversity and representation in STEAM (STEM plus the Arts) careers, and utilizes our media to meet youth where they’re at.
