We’re excited to announce that STEAM the Streets has been selected for support through the Community Impact Fund, administered by the Office of Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia!
Through See It and Be It, we’re partnering with the West Contra Costa Unified School District’s Department of College & Career to bring This Can Be You assemblies to four WCCUSD middle schools while training educators across six middle schools to implement our 12-week STEAM career exploration curriculum. Participating middle schools include Dejean, Helms, Hercules, Fred T. Korematsu, Pinole/Betty Reid Soskin, and West County Mandarin School.
Together, we’re creating meaningful opportunities for students to explore STEAM careers while equipping educators with tools to continue that exploration in the classroom.
